The eldest daughter of the Kimura Clan, with a younger brother. The Kimura Clan is in charge of festival performances and design. As a noble, she was trained and educated in various fields, including swordplay and dance. She was close to the Kamisato siblings due to their political circumstances, and she was on the receiving end of Ayato's mischief as kid. Growing up, she would be known as a timid and quiet heir of the Kimura Clan. She would participate in many festivals through dance, while also fulfilling her role as an heir.At 15 years old, the Yashiro Commission was unstable due to the Kamisato Clan's situation. She kept her distance from the Kamisato Clan according to Ayato's request and only interacted with them formally. The next few years, she spent her time honing her craft and furthering her education and combat capabilities. It was during this difficult and strained time that she was reserved and quiet more than ever.At 20 years old, she left for Sumeru to study design and broaden her horizons. In Sumeru, she formed bonds with many people and indulged in the culture, especially in the Grand Bazaar. A year after her departure, Inazuma was under the Vision Hunt and Sakoku Decrees. Unable to go home and worried for her loved ones, she sent many letters and hoped she would receive a reply while continuing with her daily life. On one of these nights, she would receive her Geo Vision. Over the years, she grew comfortable in her skin and educated in many things.When the Decrees were repealed, she immediately moved back to Inazuma to see her family and friends once more. 5 years in Sumeru has changed her to be more confident and knowledgeable, bringing change and new culture to Inazuma.

Ayato and Ky were close when they were younger because they were under the Yashiro Commission and as their respective clan heirs. She and Ayato spent more time together to teach Thoma the Inazuman language and sparred when he came into the picture when they were in their mid-teens. Ky unknowingly liked Thoma at first, finding him cute and kind-hearted. She grew to like Ayato later on as they spent more time together, and Ayato felt the same. When the Kamisato Clan became unstable, Ayato told her to keep her distance and only interact formally in political settings for her safety.When Ky moved to Sumeru to further her studies, she kept in touch with Thoma through letters. She sent many trinkets and told short stories to him, attaching letters for Ayato too so they would not be intercepted. In those years, Ky focused on her studies and put her feelings at the back of her mind, thinking her feelings would fade. Ayato and Thoma on the other hand, got together while dealing with the Kamisato Clan's instability and Vision Hunt Decree.She returned to Inazuma after 5 years when the Decrees were repealed. Ayato and Thoma were surprised at her transformation, but she was still the same person they knew before. The three of them caught up for a few weeks, talking about the years they missed, and feelings were resurfacing. Ky did not want to intrude on Ayato and Thoma's relationship, but Ayato was the one who pushed for the 3 of them to be in a relationship. Now, their relationship is an open secret in the Tri-Commission.

Aside from the Kamisato Family, when I arrived in Inazuma, the person I talked to the most was Ky. She was very much into Inazuman culture and taught me many things about the nation and even the language itself. Never once did she push me away, in fact, she asked me many things about Mondstadt. That girl is filled with wonder for the world, and I forget that she's the heir to the Kimura Clan.

Ayato and I knew each other since we were kids and were in the same situation: heir to our clans and had a younger sibling to care for. We attended many classes together, and he was quite the menace, mind you! When everything started to fall apart for him 10 years ago, he told me to keep my distance for my safety. Thoma is truly a rare person to find. Devoted, loyal, and hardworking. I saw that in him many years ago, even when he struggled with Inazuman. He's very capable and he definitely has learned a thing or two from Ayato. Such is the life of being the Yashiro Commissioner's right hand man, even during all the political instability. I hope that fire in his soul never fades. It gives me comfort.

A long time ago, partly to see where he stood, I advised him that he would be better off leaving if he didn't want to get drawn into the never-ending disputes that plague public life. Still, he chose to stay, and in all the time he's been with us, he's spared me much worry. There are very few people I trust completely these days, but Thoma is one of them.About: Kimura Ky

Robin introduced them to each other during a brief Penacony stop on her tour, simply because both of them were from the Family. Sunday immediately knew that Ky was nervous and intimidated by him, since he was the Head of the Oak Family. She knew that there was something off about him - how his smile did not reach his eyes.In the following weeks, Ky would visit Sunday at Robin's request. She would bring sweet pastries and desserts that she baked or bought, and had quick chats with him. Ky's nervousness slowly lessened with each visit, and Sunday slowly warmed up to her and enjoyed her company (it took him time to reluctantly accept that.) Eventually, the visits became more casual and intimate in nature. However, despite the frequent meetings, gifts, and shared nights, they didn't put a label on themselves. This went over for nearly 2 years.
During the Charmony Festival, they spent less time together since Sunday was busy preparing and there was an influx of guests in Penacony. Ky was wholly unaware of his plan, and succumbed to the sweet dream when Sunday met her in the middle of all the events. She did not wake up to the dream until the Astral Express took down Sunday.Upon waking up, she heard the news from an Iris Family member and rushed to Robin. At hearing the news, she was in a slump for the next few weeks and resorted to texting Sunday's (unresponsive) number everyday. When Sunday was released, he read through each message she sent and opted to send a handwritten letter, so she would not be fined for being in contact with a fugitive.As Sunday was in disguise while roaming Penacony, he approached her for a final farewell and apology as subtlely as he could without revealing his identity. However, she was wary at first and could sense the power of the Harmony at work (since he had used it often on her when they talked) and she also saw Welt by the sidelines. She quietly called him out on it, and agreed to meet in safer conditions.In the end, Ky and Sunday temporarily join the Astral Express until Sunday found his answer.
